I wouldn't recommend this game to a more experienced German learner. However, for a beginner I would.. In the German language, every noun has a specific, semiarbitrary gender: masculine, feminine, or neuter. The conjugation of these articles is fundamental to German grammar. When selecting an item in this game, the text on the screen gives the article and the noun (ex. das Bett) but the audio does not include the article (ex. Bett). This is extremely disappointing. I own this game with Korean, Chinese, and German DLC. The Korean and Chinese DLC for this game do not suffer this issue because these languages do not have gendered nouns. If the audio recordings were redone to include the gender of the noun I would recommend this. As it stands the German DLC of this product is not worth it.. Interesting approach to learning a language. Very intuitive, simple design. Pretty good. Needs to have more, and I say this full-well knowing the developer is adding more at this very moment.. It's a little upsetting that the voice actors didn't know the importance of Der\/Die\/Das when recording. Yes it shows it but it would be really nice to hear it too to help with studying.Still recommend, but it's just kind of dissappointing.
